Departing on 14th July from Labuan Bajo (a short flight from Bali) and returning to Bali on the 25th, this trip is not to be missed. We have 2 cabins available and a generous offer for new guests.
Diving on board Pindito is perfect for divers who might be older, have special needs (e.g. bad backs), want to do fewer dives per day or simply wish to dive in a vastly smaller group! Even our most experienced divers (hundreds or thousands of dives) prefer the small groups. Because frequently we will have a small handful of divers on world famous dive sites. We usually have only 2-8 divers on each trip.
Pindito is not simply a vehicle to go diving. It's a place where we can enjoy diving together. We go way beyond what most vessels provide, by providing individually tailored support and guidance.
If you have not dived for a while, we will offer a refresher. At no point will you feel obliged to keep up with others or to dive in conditions that are uncomfortable for you. Our guests are often overwhelmed by the level of personal attention they get from our guides.
During your trip, we can also help you build your skills. You will be a better and more confident diver when you've finished travelling with us.
Divers hardly lift a finger on our trips and we prefer that you don't lift any heavy equipment.
We have four tenders and a maximum of four people to each guide. Having four tenders is essential for safety as we will always have the boats on site looking out for you. It also gives us flexibility in terms of where to go.
Most of the dive and snorkel sites throughout eastern Indonesia are within a short distance of one another (or the same place). There is absolutely no disadvantage of having snorkellers nearby ... that only happens on ships with fewer boats.
If we have snorkelers, we usually put 6 in each zodiac, leaving us extra room on the dive boats for gear.
A lot of the places we dive can be notorious for strong currents but we NEVER put you in a current unless you are comfortable with that and have the skill to manage it.
The fact is, the vast majority of divers want a 'walk in the park' and this means we will choose places and times that match your expectation and provide an enjoyable experience.
We can do this because we have a flexible itinerary. Unlike other boats that are locked into diving at specific times (due to maximising the number of dives per day), we do a maximum of 3-4 dives a day (fewer if we are doing some land-based activities or whale watching). We also have the most experienced dive guides in Indonesia with 30 years expertise. We know each site intimately and how to put you in the right place comfortably and safely.
